About Me
bio
James Muscarello has been a professional artist for 30 years. He attended California Institute of the Arts and El Camino College. He has illustrated several children’s books and is a Ben Franklin award recipient for “Leo the Lightning Bug” and “Ellison the Elephant”. He has participated in art and gallery shows on the east and west coast, including Gallery Azul and The Loft in San Pedro, CA and the Mark Twain Museum in Hartford, CT. His sculptures "Check Your Pulse" and "Mask Over Troubled Waters" were awarded first place in the 2018 and 2022 Community Art Shows in Palos Verdes, CA.
Currently, James works as a freelance 3D sculptor and toy designer. His days spent in the digital realm, he enjoys spending his evenings tooling away at his own scribbles and sculptures at his home in Lomita with his wife, Kiara and several well-fed animals.
